This lovely south facing sunny quad style villa is located in a quiet Cul de Sac on the outskirts of Torrevieja, Jardin del Mar , approximately 35 minutes from Alicante on the sunny Costa Blanca.

Jardin del Mar is in a complex of villas with designated pool areas, situated approx 5 min’s drive from Torrevieja town centre and beaches. It can accommodate a maximum of 6/7 and is available for either short or long term holiday lets throughout the year. (We also have a ground floor apartment in a nearby road sleeping 5 – please ask for details)

Its southern aspect also makes this a warm villa for winter rentals as well as a total sun-trap for all you sun seekers out there! The large communal pool is for residents only and accessed by an electronic fob.

It is also ideally placed for a short golf break with four courses all within a 20 minute drive of the villa. There are bars, restaurants, two supermarkets, the Habaneras shopping Centre, an Aqua-park, Bowling Alley and Sports Complex all within walking distance. This is a popular area close to salt lakes and nature parks, suitable for walking and cycling. There is a bus stop nearby with a regular bus service to the town centre and blue flag beaches.

The accommodation comprises of three bedrooms, one double and two twins and two bathrooms. One twin bedroom is located on the ground floor next to the downstairs toilet with small shower and sink so ideal for guests who may have mobility problems. It has a fully equipped separate kitchen (Not American style) A travel cot, high chair, buggy and stair gate are available at no extra charge. Parking is right outside the villa. There is a safe available for guests use.

If needed there are hot/cold air con units in the lounge and main bedroom, available on a meter. The lounge has double aspect windows and is very light and airy, it has corner sofa seating with a television attached to the wall on a swivel bracket, providing English TV and Spanish TV channels. There is a collection of music CD’s, DVD player and a collection of DVD’s , a PS2 with games and a blue tooth speaker so you can play your own favourite music. We offer high-speed fibre optic wi fi free of charge of 20MGB. There is a charging dock with 2 USB sockets.

Beach chairs, inflatables, beach parasol, cool boxes, buckets and spades are available for guests use. (subject to availability) There is also a dining area which seats 6. For your comfort ceiling fans are fitted in all rooms. All of the bedrooms are tastefully decorated with bedside cabinets, fitted wardrobes and plenty of storage space. Bed linen is provided at no additional cost. There is a hairdryer available.

The separate kitchen is equipped with fridge freezer, microwave, hob, oven, toaster, food processor, iron, ironing board and washing machine. At the side of the villa there is a patio area for al fresco dining with a stone built BBQ. There are 2 solariums, one off the main bedroom and one on the roof with sun loungers, for all day sunshine!

The bathroom is fully tiled and comprises a shower, vanity basin and toilet. There is also a small shower room situated on the ground floor and has a shower, toilet and basin.

NO SMOKING IS PERMITTED INSIDE THE PROPERTY. Smoking on the terrace only, please.

The owner reserves the right to decline bookings of single sex groups but they may be considered in some circumstances with prior consent of the owner. It is preferable the lead party member is over 25 years of age, if they are not, again with prior consent of the owner, a booking can be made with a parental guarantor signed contract.

Location Description
Spain’s largest Friday outdoor market, which used to be held in the town, has now moved and is within walking distance of the property in a designated area. (near the Aqua Park)

The Habanaras shopping centre and Carrefour Supermarket is within a 5 min walk. There are bars, tapas bars and restaurants close by.

The Costa Blanca is an ideal location for a summer or winter sun holiday with an average of 320 days sunshine each year. Torrevieja is a fast developing Mediterranean coastal town situated approximately 30 miles from Alicante / Murcia airports on the Costa Blanca, in the south east of Spain. It is easily accessible due to the main N322 road and the A7 motorway .It is situated next to the sea in the south of the Valencian Community and it boasts lots of beaches, a natural park and salt lakes where there is an abundance of flamingos and other wildlife. Due to the vicinity of the salt lakes, Torrevieja benefits from a microclimate that has been a long favourite with the Spanish and Nordic tourists who come year after year for its beneficial effects. Torrevieja has even been voted as one of the best places to live by the World Health Authority.

Torrevieja: A popular place to stay, Torrevieja caters well for tourism, with plenty of activities on offer by day or night although it isn’t a resort in the package holiday sense.The town provides first class facilities for lovers of all sports – there are golf clubs, a flying club, a variety of water sports and the municipal stadium with an athletics track, sauna and covered courts for tennis. Visitor numbers increase greatly during the summer months of July and August, and Easter is another popular time, it’s no wonder with a fantastic climate, lots of restaurants and shops galore, Torrevieja is the ideal choice for a fun-packed holiday in the sun. It is also ideally placed for a short golf break, there are many professional golf courses within 20 minutes drive from the accommodation, notably Villamartin, Las ramblas and Campoamor.

Zenia Boulevard, the largest shopping centre in Europe, is a five minute drive away. Zenia Boulevard has a traditional Mediterranean design, featuring more than 600 trees and 55 different plant species in the various gardens and open spaces which give colour to the shopping centre. Its layout is designed to reflect a typical Spanish village, with various “town squares” such as Plaza London Square or Plaza Mayor linked by “streets” lined with shops of every description.

The centre accommodates popular national, international and local brands such as the hypermarket Alcampo, Leroy Merlin, Tenpin bowling, Primark, Inditex with Zara and their other trademarks H&M, C&A, Deichmann, Guess, Geox, Swarovski, Punto Roma, Muerde la Pasta, Kiko, Druni and Marvimundo. There is a Casino there and childrens play areas.

If day trips are your thing then there is plenty to do and see around the Costa Blanca.
