Property Description

Villa Antigua is a beautiful waterfront rental villa in the Caribbean. Refurbished in 2020 and located on the west coast of Antigua in the friendly and gated community of Jolly Harbour, we are pleased to offer short stays on this paradise island from 7 days up to 3 months.

Situated on the desirable south finger with views out to the harbour and mountains in the distance, one of the island’s best beaches is under 5 minutes walk away complete with its own beach bar. A further 5 minute walk brings you to the commercial heart of Jolly Harbour where you will find numerous bars, restaurants, a supermarket and pharmacy as well as the communal swimming pool, tennis courts, gym and golf course.

Villa Antigua sleeps four across two en-suite bedrooms both with their own balconies. The Master bedroom has views overlooking the harbour whilst the twin guest bedroom has a balcony which gets the afternoon sun.

Downstairs an open plan lounge, kitchen, diner has a breakfast bar and dining area for four. The kitchen has all facilities you would expect from a modern conversion including dishwasher, washing machine and large American fridge freezer.

In the lounge area you will find a TV with cable and wifi is also available to use. Step outside on to the deck with its open plan views over the sleeping Indian behind, this is the perfect spot for a sundowner – or two! With comfy outside seating and a dining area that can seat up to six, along with a gas barbeque, the only decision you need to make is whether to eat in or venture out…….

Hi my other half Arnie and I live on the south coast of England and run a yacht charter company. We love being on or near the water and you will often find us on the Solent or having a short break in our favourite Isle of Wight town of Yarmouth. We also love travelling and fell in love with Antigua a few years ago after family and friends bought houses there. It was always our dream to own a small waterfront property on the Caribbean coastline and in 2019 we finally realised that dream. After a year of paperwork and then renovations, we finally took the keys in February 2020. This is our first overseas rental property (we have several long term rentals in the UK), but have a great property manager who lives on island and is available for any help or assistance. Feedback has already been great from business clients and friends who have already stayed and we have taken a number of repeat bookings – some 2 years in advance!
