Sentry Cottage is situated in the heart of the beautiful and bustling market town of Alnwick, Northumberland. Everything Alnwick has to offer is on your doorstep: Alnwick Castle and Alnwick Garden’s are a 5 minute stroll. The castle is famous for being Hogwart’s in the Harry Potter films and for being Brancaster Castle in Downton Abbey. The renown Barter Books is a two-minute walk and is a fabulous place to while away a lazy afternoon with a good book, enjoying the food and drinks and the roaring fires on an inclement day. The centre of town is accessed through the mediaeval Hotspur Tower, which is a minute walk.

Sentry Cottage is close to the mediaeval Hotspur Tower, opposite Alnwick’s ‘Playhouse’ Theatre.

The nearest beach is at Alnmouth which is 3 miles away. It is breathtakingly beautiful.

Sentry Cottage is a stunning 2 bedroom cottage built in 1860. It has just undergone sympathetic renovation and retains many of it’s period features, offering guests a luxurious haven to escape the stresses and strains of life.
